Independence Day Activity – KG Wing (14.08.2025)

On 14th August 2025, the KG Wing celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The classroom was filled with excitement as the little ones participated in a special activity aimed at making them understand the significance of this historic day.

The teachers began by narrating age-appropriate stories and engaging the children in a lively discussion about the importance of Independence Day. They explained, in simple words, how our country gained freedom and why we celebrate this day every year. This helped the young learners develop an early sense of respect and love for the nation.

Following the discussion, the children took part in a creative art-and-craft session where they made a beautiful “Jai Hind” craft. Using colourful papers, stickers, and other decorative materials, the children joyfully created their masterpieces, expressing their patriotic feelings through art.

The activity not only enhanced their understanding of the day’s importance but also encouraged creativity, teamwork, and fine motor skills. The cheerful faces of the children and their proudly displayed crafts reflected the true spirit of Independence Day

FANCY DRESS COMPETITION 2025

Today, 12th August 2025, the Kindergarten Wing of our school hosted a Fancy Dress Competition on the theme Patriotism. The little ones came dressed as national heroes and symbols of pride, showcasing their love for the country with great enthusiasm."

On 29th March 2025, a joyful hand impression activity was conducted by the kindergarten classes at St. Joseph’s Convent School, Dhina. The young students eagerly participated, dipping their hands in colourful paints and pressing them onto paper to create vibrant artwork. This creative session helped enhance their sensory skills, color recognition, and self-expression. The children were excited to see their handprints come to life in various colors and patterns. Teachers guided them with care, turning the activity into a fun-filled learning experience. Overall, it was a delightful day that fostered creativity and left lasting memories for the little ones.
